May 2017, after my jaunt to Maui, I went back to Oahu for my tattoo appointment. I decided on one more detour on this trip. I contacted my friend Orvil and wandered up to the North Shore of Oahu to check out OneOcean Diving and snorkel/freedive with sharks.
It was an incredible experience. There was a total of 24 Galapagos sharks and 4 Sandbar sharks, mostly males, while we were up there playing in the water. The dive safety officer did a fantastic job talking about the research and information you need to know about the sharks and their organization.
I would happily go out with OneOcean Diving again and support their wonderful cause.
